I love children's books. Thankfully my time as a kindergarten teacher allowed me to start a nice collection. In that collection there are a number of great reads for the fall season, so now that it's here, I'm more than ready to get them off the shelf!
In case you're looking for some good books to read with your children this fall, or if you're maybe like me and just love to have all the good children's books, then hopefully you'll find something here that piques your interest. Ready to "fall" into a good book?! Check them out!
There are also some printable bookmarks and a "Little Reader's Book Report" for you to check out!
Sneeze, Big Bear, Sneeze! by Maureen Wright - Fall has arrived and Big Bear just can't stop sneezing. Sadly, the poor bear starts to think that his sneezes are responsible for all the apples and leaves that are starting to fall. Thankfully, the wind helps him to see the real reason. A humorous little story with beautiful illustrations children will love.
Too Tall Houses by Gianna Marino - Owl and Rabbit are great friends and neighbors. They are living quite peacefully in their small houses, that is until Rabbit's garden starts to block Owl's view. In response, Owl just builds his house a little taller. When that interferes with the sunshine for Rabbit's vegetables, he responds by building his house even taller. And so it goes, trying to outdo the height of the other house...until the two houses are the tallest in the world! What will the two friends decide to do about their friendship (and their houses) when a big gust of wind shows up? Another cute story, with a nice little lesson about friendship, and really fun illustrations.
Bear Feels Sick by Karma Wilson - Another cute addition to "The Bear Books". In this one, poor Bear is not feeling well at all, definitely not well enough to play with his animal friends. And so, his friends decide that they will take care of him and make him as comfortable as possible. In no time at all, Bear is feeling so much better and is ready to go play in the leaves...the only problem is that now his sweet friends aren't feeling very well! Children are sure to love the fun text and sweet illustrations in this installment of the Bear series.
